Why can Sports Therapy help us as we get older?

As we get older we are more susceptible to conditions like painful, swollen joints, osteo-arthritis, frozen shoulder, back and neck pain, poor posture and general wear and tear. We can loose the ability to perform the daily tasks we all take for granted such as walking up and down stairs, reaching for food on shelves, reversing the car and so on.
A Sports Therapist can help reduce these problems by mobilising stiff joints and muscles. We can also prescribe gentle exercise to bring back function, once lost. Warming massage can also give pain relief, mobility, increased circulation and well being.
